A Packaging Study for Cookies

Children are one of the most important consumers because they have a say in the purchasing of a product. Parameters of food packaging such as color, characters, typography and layout of the packaging plays a pivotal role.

My Master Thesis targets the Mariekex cookies and how the packaging elements affect the children decision of purchase. My proposal was to verify what graphic elements were present in the most sold cookie packages and redefine three new packages of my creation without resourcing to marketing techniques.

For each package was removed the illustrations, cartoon characters and color while adding a playful and educational propose to each package.
